  Kenneth H. "Kenny" Yordy Kenneth H. "Kenny" Yordy, 65, of 4529 Old Gettysburg 
  Road, Mechanicsburg, died Monday, April 21, 2008, in the Lebanon VA Medical 
  Center. He was born July 20, 1942, in Mt. Zion, a son of the late Daniel and 
  Elsie Sholly Yordy. He was a member of Zoar Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was 
  a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Vietnam from October 1969-October 1970 
  and September 1971-April 1972. He served 23 years in the Army Reserves as a 
  staff sergeant. He graduated in 1960 from North Lebanon High School, and was a 
  truck driver from TransCon and Nations Way trucking. He was an active bowler at 
  ABC Lanes West, and had bowled two perfect games. He served as commander of 
  Lower Allen VFW Post No. 7530 in 1983-84. Surviving are wife Rosemary Campbell 
  Yordy of Mechanicsburg, who he married Dec. 20, 1980; daughter Lori Bennett of 
  Harrisonburg, Virginia; son Robert Yordy of Fredericksburg; stepchildren 
  Christine Miller of York Haven and Joseph Campbell of Mechanicsburg; sisters 
  Elsie Seiders and Fern Sanders of Lebanon, Dorothy Rambler of Palmyra, Jean 
  Yordy of Myerstown, Carol Humphreys of Hershey, Shirley Flocken of Annville; 
  brothers Raymond Yordy of Lebanon and Richard Yordy of Cleona; six 
  grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Viewing is scheduled for Friday, April 
  25, 2008, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Zoar Evangelical Lutheran Church, 560 
  Freeport Road, Lebanon, followed by services at 11:30 a.m.. Burial will be at 
  Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Memorials can be sent to his church.
