  Leon M. Zechman, 70, of Myerstown, Pa., formerly of Womelsdorf, Pa., died 
  Monday, July 14, 2008, at the E. C. C. Retirement Village- Albright Campus, 
  Myerstown, Pa. Born in Marion Township, Pa. on January 11, 1938, he was the son 
  of the late Earl and Jennie (Moyer) Zechman. He had been employed at Quaker 
  Alloy, Myerstown, for many years. He then worked for the Conrad Weiser School 
  District as a custodian for 17 years, retiring in April 2006. He was a member 
  of St. John's " Host " Church, Bernville, Pa. He is survived by daughters 
  Carmela, wife of Gary Deck of Bethel, Pa., and Lisa, wife of James Mahaffey of 
  Richland, Pa.; sister Annamae, wife of Kenneth Yeingst of Bethel, Pa., brothers 
  Herbert, husband of Lillian Zechman of Richland, Pa., and Harold, husband of 
  Beatrice Zechman of Stouchsburg, Pa.; six grandchildren; and several nieces and 
  nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at 11 a.m. 
  from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, Pa. Viewing from 9 
  a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment at St. John's "Host" Cemetery, Bernville, Pa.
