"Bill" William P. "Bill" Zengerle ANNVILLE William P. "Bill" Zengerle, 83, of 105 N. King Street, Annville, died Monday, February 25, 2008, in ManorCare Health Services, Lebanon. He was the husband of Helen E. Mariani Zengerle, with whom he celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary this past September. Born in Oak Park, Illinois, on October 22, 1924, he was the son of the late John Casper and Francis Daugherty Zengerle. He was a retired credit manager for Cleveland Bros. Catapillar Tractor, Harrisburg, and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Bill graduated from Lebanon High School in 1942 and attended Bryant College, Providence, Rhoade Island. He was a member of St. Paul The Apostle Church, Annville, and its over 50 Club, was past president of the Church Council, served on the building committee, and since 1983 served as a Eucharistic minister. His other affiliations include the Lebanon Navy Club, Annville Union Hose Fire Company, Annville American Legion, past president of the AnnvilleCleona Kiwanis Club, past grand knight of Lebanon Knights of Columbus Council 2870, and the Credit Management Association of Delaware Valley. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Lynette M., wife of Bruce Killen of Newtown Square, Pa.; an adopted daughter, Anita F. Embar of Washington, Va.; two grandchildren, Bridget L. Killen and Nicolette L. Killen; and a brother, Joseph Zengerle of Annville. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Robert Zengerle; and a sister, Mary Kirkwood. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. from St. Paul The Apostle Church, 125 S. Spruce Street, Annville, PA 17003. Interment with military honors in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home, 618 E. Main St., Annville.
