  Zimmerman, Elam N.    
   
   
  Elam N. Zimmerman, 92, formerly of 575 Schaeffer Road, Lebanon, died Wednesday, 
  June 4, 2008, in the Fairmount Home, Ephrata. He was the husband of Esther Mae 
  Snyder Zimmerman, who died June 17, 2007. He was born December 10, 1915, in 
  Martindale, a son of the late Menno N. and Mary Nolt Zimmerman. He was a 
  retired farmer and a member of the Fairview Mennonite Church of the Weaverland 
  Conference. Elam is survived by children Clair S., husband of Leah Zimmerman, 
  and Marvin S., husband of Mary Zimmerman, both of Ephrata, Ruth S., widow of 
  Lloyd S. Martin, and Elvin S. Zimmerman, both of Lititz, Elsie S. Zimmerman of 
  Lebanon, Leon S., husband of Naomi Zimmerman of Albania, Nelson S., husband of 
  Gail Zimmerman of Cornwall; 19 grandchildren; 35 greatgrandchildren; sisters 
  Mary, widow of Aaron Reiff, and Katie, widow of John L. Leid, both of New 
  Holland, Ruth, widow of Lloyd Martin of Denver, Emma, wife of Noah Horning of 
  Terre Hill. Funeral service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the Fairview 
  Mennonite Church, Elco Drive, Myerstown. Interment will be made in the 
  adjoining church cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the 
  Wheatridge Chapel of the Fairmount Home, Ephrata. Please omit flowers. Clauser 
  Funeral Home Inc. is handling the arrangements.
