Miller shabodeho@aol.com January 1, 2009, 9:42 pm Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 12/16/2008 Zulker, Virginia Idell "Ginny" Virginia (Ginny) Idell Zulker, 75, of Cornwall Pa., formerly of Wayne Pa., died Friday morning at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon Pa. Born in 1933 in Cape May Courthouse N.J., she was the youngest daughter of the late Virginia Idell Carr Zulker and William J. Zulker. Ginny graduated from Hamilton High School, Trenton N.J., attended Barrington College, Mass., and earned a Licensed Practical Nursing Certificate from CrozierChester Medical Center, Pa. She was formerly employed as a nurse at the Melmark Home, Berwyn Pa., for several years. She had also been employed as a secretary for General Electric, Eastern University and Devereux. She was a volunteer at the Wayne Presbyterian Church and the Wayne United Methodist Church. She opened her home and her heart to numerous foster children. Her hobbies included knitting, puzzles, caring for her pets and never missing a chance to watch the Phillies on TV. She is survived by her adopted son, Charles Zulker, his wife Michelle and their children Jennifer, Alexander, Kira and Laura; brothers Charles, husband of Ginny-Lou, William, husband of Isabel and Walter, husband of Miriam; sister Elizabeth, wife of the late Norman Curcio; and several nieces; nephews; grandnieces; and grandnephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th, at 2 p.m. at the Cornwall Manor Chapel, 1 Boyd Street, Cornwall Pa. A second memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10th, at 2 p.m. at the Wayne United Methodist Church, 210 S. Wayne Ave., Wayne Pa. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Melmark Home, 2600 Wayland Road, Berwyn, PA 19312, 610-325-4981. Ginny possessed a steadfast and unwavering faith in the Lord, and leaves a legacy of unconditional love, compassion and understanding.
