  Joseph J. Arnold Sr. Joseph J. Arnold Sr., 78, of 609 N. 12th St., Lebanon, 
  died Saturday, March 28, 2009, in the Hershey Medical Center. He was the 
  husband of Barbara Ann Boyer Arnold, with whom he would have celebrated his 
  57th wedding anniversary on May 17, 2009. Born in Lebanon on April 10, 1930, he 
  was the son of the late Ralph and Elizabeth Arnold Arnold. He had worked at the 
  Cornwall Ore Mines for 30 years. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle 
  Catholic Church, Annville, and St. Paul's Over 50 Club. He enjoyed playing 
  cards with his buddies and spending time with his grandchildren and great-
  grandchildren. He enjoyed gardening and growing his tomato plants. He was a 
  U.S. Marine veteran. Surviving in addition to his wife, Barbara Ann, are 3 
  children: Margaret Ann, wife of Dean Ehrhart, of Lititz, Joan Marie, wife of 
  Steven Albright, of Palmyra and Joseph J. Arnold Jr. of Myerstown; 5 
  grandchildren Matthew, Nicole, Michael, Philip and Laura; 5 greatgrandchildren 
  Christian, Austin, Steven, Alyssa and Karlee; 4 sisters Margaret Kirkessner, 
  Marie Putt, Arlene Arnold and Barbara Arnold; 4 brothers Richard, George, 
  Stephen and Vincent Arnold; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in 
  death by a brother, Eugene Arnold. Memorial services on Thursday at 10:30 from 
  Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon. Interment on Indiantown 
  Gap National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday morning 9:30-10:30 at the funeral 
  home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Penn State Children's 
  Hospital Four Diamonds Fund, PO Box 850-MCH077, Hershey, PA 17033.
