M. shabodeho@aol.com November 3, 2009, 6:19 pm Published in the Lebanon Daily News from 10/22/2009 - 10/25/2009 Artley, Sophia Strahosky Sophia Strahosky Artley MIDDLETOWN Sophia Strahosky Artley, 96, of Frey Village Retirement Center, formerly of Camp Hill, Lebanon, Hershey and Donora, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, with her family by her side. Born May 4, 1913, in Donora, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Anna (Dugan) Strahosky. She was the widow of Arlington Artley and was also preceded in death by sisters, Olga Slebodnik and Margaret Zewe; and brother, William Strahosky. Sophia was retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. She also owned Marita's, a children's clothing shop in Lebanon, for many years. She loved to travel, and visited all 50 states and several foreign countries in her lifetime. She always put family first. Surviving are her sisters, Mary Sudor and Helen George, both of Hershey; a brother John Strahosky of Charleroi; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be with her husband in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
