  Aungst, Helen I.   
   
  Helen I. Aungst, 90, of Pine Grove, Pa., passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2009, 
  in Schuylkill Medical Center South in Pottsville. Born on June 30, 1918, in 
  Pine Grove Township, she was a daughter of the late Herman A. and Mary Minnich 
  Noll. Helen worked as a button sewer for the former Fox-Knapp Mfg. in Pine 
  Grove, and retired in 1980, after working 38 years. She was a member of St. 
  Peter's Lutheran Church in Pine Grove since April 5, 1936. She was a 1937 
  graduate of Pine Grove High School. Preceding her in death were her husband of 
  58 years, Sterling A. "Ben" Aungst, on December 20, 2008; two sisters, Anna 
  Zechman and Betty Noll; and a brother, Charles Noll. Surviving are sister 
  Kathleen, wife of Richard Keeney of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews. Services 
  will be held at H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at 11 
  a.m., with Dr. Richard Schoenleber officiating. Friends will be received 
  Tuesday, March 17, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., at the H.L. Snyder Funeral Home 
  Inc., Pine Grove, Pa. Interment will follow in the Indiantown Gap National 
  Cemetery, Annville, Pa. The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, donations 
  be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 312 S. Tulpehocken Street, Pine Grove, 
  in her memory.
