  Austin, Leander C.   
   
  Leander C. Austin, 54 years, formerly of 2 Lebanon Village, now of Cedar Haven, 
  died at the Good Samaritan Hospital on Sunday, March 8, 2009. Born on Jan. 12, 
  1955, in Hoboken, N.J., the son of Clarence and Evelyn Vashaw Austin. He had 
  worked in construction as a roofer. He worshipped in the Methodist faith. 
  Survived by children Patrick and Aaron Austin of Oregon; three sisters, 
  Charlotte, wife of Richard Pastena of Woburn, Mass., Deborah, wife of Steven 
  Arnold of Lebanon, Patricia, wife of Ronald Stine of Lebanon; several nieces 
  and nephews. His parents, and a brother, Clarence Jr., preceded him in death. A 
  memorial service will be held Thursday, March 12, 2009, at Bethany United 
  Methodist at 510 N. Hanover St. in Lebanon at 6 p.m. Relatives and friends are 
  invited. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by 
  Taylor-Ruffner Funeral Home Inc., 712 Chestnut St., Lebanon.
