  Mary Battistelli Mary Battistelli, 90, of Lebanon, Pa., died peacefully at her 
  home,after several years of debilitating illnesses, on Saturday, March 14, 
  2009. She was married for 61 years to the late Archie Battistelli, with whom 
  she operated a grocery store in Lebanon for many years. Her primary vocation in 
  life was to lovingly care for the needs of her husband, her sons, and all her 
  extended family. She was born in Big Run (Edri), Pa., Indiana County, on May 9, 
  1918, to the late Jack and Caroline Gasperini. She graduated from Elders Ridge 
  Vocational High School in 1936, and moved to Lebanon in 1953. She was a member 
  of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Lebanon. She is survived by her three 
  sons, Donald, husband of Louise of Lebanon, Pa., Archie Jr., husband of 
  Patricia of Annville, Pa., and Kenneth, husband of Bonnie of Lebanon, Pa.; one 
  sister, Angeline Kotts of New Kensington, Pa., seven grandchildren; and seven 
  great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Philomena Zarenak; 
  three brothers, Henry, Peter and Samuel Gasperini; and a grandson, Todd Michael 
  Battistelli. Viewing hours will be held Sunday evening, 68, with a prayer 
  service at 8, at Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. Ninth St., Lebanon, PA 
  17042. A viewing will also be held Monday from 4-8 at Corridoni Funeral Home, 
  400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, PA 15618. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 
  at 10 in St. Matthews Catholic Church, Saltsburg, Pa. In lieu of flowers, 
  donations may be made to St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 2 N. Eighth St., 
  Lebanon, PA 17046.
