Eugene F. Bausher Eugene F. Bausher, 84, of Palmyra, and formerly of Bloody Spring Road, Upper Tulpehocken Twp., Berks Co., died Thursday, March 12, 2009, at 3:50 p.m. in Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, where he was taken earlier that day from ManorCare, Lebanon, where he was since the end of January. He was the husband of June M. (Remp) Bausher to whom he was married 62 years on January 25, 1947. Born in Auburn, Schuylkill Co., he was the son of the late Wayne and Esther (Dissinger) Bausher. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving on the U.S.S. Concord. Eugene worked for 47 years as an assembler for Allen Sherman Hoff Pump Company, Hamburg, until his retirement. He was a member of Shartlesville Fire Company and beneficial association and a former member of Dutch Haven Hunting Camp, Sullivan County. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons: Theodore W., husband of Cheryl (Shollenberger) Bausher, Strausstown; and Timothy E. Bausher, Palmyra; and one daughter, Maryellen E. (Bausher), widow of Terry A. Snyder, Palmyra. He was predeceased by a daughter, Rosemarie J. (Bausher) Snyder, on January 4, 1997. Eugene is also survived by four grandchildren and one greatgranddaughter. Services will be on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Hamburg (off street parking in rear) with Rev. Paul E. Buzzard officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Strausstown Cemetery.
