  Harry B. Behney, 80, of Community Circle, Palmyra died Saturday, June 20, 2009 
  in the Royer House of Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, Palmyra. He was the husband 
  of Norma F. Ludwick Behney and the late Bette Slike Behney. Born in Lebanon of 
  June 20, 1929 he was the son of the late Harrison O. and Sallie Elizabeth 
  Basehore Behney. He was a graduate of L.H.S. Class of 1947. He was a veteran in 
  the U.S. Marine Corps. during the Korean conflict. Harry was a member of 
  Covenant United Methodist Church, Lebanon, Robert Burns Lodge #464; Harrisburg 
  Consistory and the Annville American Legion. He retired from the banking 
  industry after 20 years of service and also worked for the United Assoc. 
  Grocery for 17 years and the State Dept. for 10 years. He enjoyed playing golf. 
  In addition to his wife, Harry is survived by stepchildren: Thomas Bowman and 
  wife Sandy, Lebanon; Jan Bowman and wife Pat, Annville; Raymond Bowman, 
  Lebanon; Grandchildren: Joy Bowman Albright, Cleona; Holly Bowman Blandford, 
  Sinking Springs; Jon David Bowman, Lebanon; great-grandchildren: Luke Kian 
  Bowman and Jake Khalil Bowman both of Lebanon. Memorial services will be held 
  Friday at 11:00 AM in the Covenant United Methodist Church, 346 N. 9th St., 
  Lebanon where a visitation will begin at 10:30 AM. Private family interment 
  will be made in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be 
  made to his church. The Rohland Funeral Home, Lebanon handled the 
  arrangements.
