  Betty S. Beiler LEBANON Betty S. Beiler, 84, formerly of Leola, and recently of 
  Lebanon, died Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at Cedar Haven Nursing Home, 
  Lebanon. She was the wife of Christian Beiler, who died in November 1991. Born 
  in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Susan (Ulrich) Shenk. 
  Betty was employed at the Babcock Hatchery of Lititz for 10 years before 
  retiring in 1979. She was a member and greeter at Hope Episcopal Church of 
  Manheim, was active with the church Craft Club, and was a former volunteer for 
  the Ronks Fire Company in Ronks. Betty greatly enjoyed traveling, bird 
  watching, doing needlecrafts, crossword puzzles, and playing cards with 
  friends. Betty is survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 
  and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was 
  preceded in death by a son, Robert Shenk; and brothers, Burnell, Carl, Roy, and 
  Amos Shenk, Jr. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her 
  funeral service at 2 p.m. Tuesday from Hope Episcopal Church, 2425 Mountain 
  Road, Manheim, with Fr. Timothy Small and Fr. John Naegele officiating. 
  Interment will be in Manheim Fairview Cemetery. There will be a public viewing 
  on Tuesday at Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, from 12:30 until 
  1:30 p.m. There will be no viewing at the church. Please omit flowers. 
  Contributions in Betty's memory may be sent to Hope Episcopal Church, 2425 
  Mountain Road, Manheim PA 17545.
