  Lillian A. "Lillie" Bemesderfer, 81, of 1901 E. Allegheny Ave., Lebanon, died 
  Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Hearthstone Manor. She was born December 8, 1927, 
  in Pine Grove, daughter of the late Lyman and Mary Eichert Schnoke. She was a 
  member of Avon Zion United Methodist Church. She had been a volunteer at the 
  Hyman S. Caplan Pavilion, and she enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Surviving 
  are children Kerry Bemesderfer of Lebanon, Donald Bemesderfer of Cornwall, 
  Dorothy Lineaweaver of Robesonia, and Jennifer Young of Jonestown; sister Helen 
  Lymaster of Lebanon; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She 
  was preceded in death by husband Richard L. Bemesderfer (Nov. 23, 1994). 
  Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, 2009, from noon-1 p.m. at 
  Christman's Funeral Home Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, followed by 
  memorial services at 1 p.m. Private interment in Indiantown Gap National 
  Cemetery. Memorials can be sent to American Cancer Society, 526 Cumberland 
  Street, PO Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042-1274.
