Born in Lebanon County, Jennie was the daughter of the late David E. and Katie Houser Wolf. She was the wife of the late Richard Berkheiser Sr., who passed away August 26, 1978. Jennie was a homemaker all of her life and enjoyed spending time with her family, going shopping with her sisters and playing bingo. She was also a great cook and baker and will be missed greatly by all those lives she has touched. She is survived by three daughters, Patricia A. Tshudy, Deborah K., wife of Kenneth L. Hostetter, and Robin S., wife of Jerry Leed, all of Manheim; a son, Richard, husband of Grace Merkey Berkheiser of Ephrata; 13 grandchildren; 22 greatgrandchildren; and one great- great-grandson. She is also survived by two sisters, Shirley, wife of Anton Schwartz of Lebanon, and Romona, wife of Harry Miller of Manheim. She was preceded in death by a son, Ross Berkheiser; and three grandchildren, Dawn Tshudy, Kenneth Tshudy, and Ross Wolfe; nine brothers, John, Charles, Elmer, Earl, Walter, David, Roy, Raymond and Ron Wolf Sr.; and four sisters, Violet Wolfe, Joyce Berrier, Elaine Lefever, Patricia Knier; and a son -in -law, Kenneth Tshudy. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service from the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Monday, April 13, 2009, at 11 a.m. Interment in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Rapho Township. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
