Ressler Bomberger, 97, of ManorCare, formerly of Quentin, died Saturday, May 23, 2009, at the home. She was born to the late B. Franklin and Maggie Spangler Ressler on March 30, 1912, in Lebanon. She was a member of Quentin United Church of Christ. She worked in the food center at Cornwall Manor, was involved with the Quentin Ladies Auxiliary, Farm Women's Group #16 and was active in her church. Surviving is son Dale J. Bomberger of Lebanon; cousins James Ressler of Mifflintown and Henry Wagner of Lebanon and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Joseph M. Bomberger (4/19/1976); 2 brothers and 1 sister and daughter-in-law Erma J. Diem Bomberger. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 28, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Quentin United Church of Christ at Rt. 72 and 419, Quentin, with viewing from 9:30 to 11. Burial will be at Quentin (Bismarck) Cemetery. Memorials can be sent to Quentin United Church of Christ, Rt. 72 and 419, Quentin, PA 17083.
