  Bonneville Jr., Norman G.   
   
  Norman G. Bonneville Jr., 84, passed away at the Golden Living Center in Camp 
  Hill on Wednesday, January 21, 2009. He was born in Harrisburg on September 15, 
  1924, to Carrie L. (Stemler) and Norman G. Bonneville, and married Elsie J. 
  Gutekunst of Harrisburg on April 1, 1944. His grandson, Richard Bonneville Jr., 
  precedes him in death. Norman is survived by wife Elsie; sons Richard 
  Bonneville Sr. and wife Kay of New Cumberland, Pa., Robert Bonneville and wife 
  Jean of Lebanon, Pa.; brother Richard Bonneville of Camp Hill, Pa.; five 
  grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. After graduating from William Penn 
  High School in 1942, he served in the U.S. Army. He joined the Harrisburg City 
  Police in 1952. Norman served as head of the Police Athletic League, and went 
  on to become head of the Juvenile Division, and as acting Chief of Police. He 
  retired from the position of assistant chief in 1980. A graveside service will 
  be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial 
  contributions may be made to the American Red Cross. Arrangements entrusted to 
  Auer Cremation Services of Pennsylvania Inc., Harrisburg.
