Kevin J. Booser, age 41, of Fishburn Road, Hershey, died on Saturday, March 7, 2009, while on vacation in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He is the son of Donald J. and Helen Blauch Booser of Hershey. He was born on May 28, 1967, in Hershey, Pa. He was employed in production for the past 19 years for the H.B. Reese Candy Company in Hershey. He was a 1985 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School. His passion was raising and showing Morgan Horses. He was a member of the USEF Competing Equestrian and the USET Foundation. Surviving in addition to his loving parents are his maternal grandmother Ruth, wife of the late Merle Blauch of Annville; paternal grandparents Jay R. and Edith Booser of Hershey; his sister, Kimberly D. Booser of Hershey; his brothers, Kylan P., husband of Margo Booser of Maplewood, Ohio, Ernest Wilcox of Lancaster and Aaron Smith of Hershey; nephews Ryan and Gavin Booser; and his niece, Hope Booser, all of Maplewood, Ohio; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited for a time of viewing on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, from 68 p.m. at the Rothermel Funeral Home Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra. His funeral ceremony will be on Thursday, March 12, 2009, at the Evangelical Free Church of Hershey at 10:30 a.m., with the hour prior for viewing. Burial will follow in the Shenk's Church Cemetery, Conewago Township, Dauphin County. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Evangelical Free Church of Hershey, PO Box 648, Hershey, PA 17033; or to the A A E P Foundation, 4075 Iron Works Parkway, Lexington, KY 40511 (1800-443-0177).
