  Ralph W. Bordner JONESTOWN Ralph W. "Jiggs" Bordner, 82, passed away on 
  Tuesday, September 8, 2009, at his home. He was the husband of Miriam R. 
  Schamber Bordner. They celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on May 5, 
  2009. Born in Fredericksburg, on January 7, 1927, he was the son of the late 
  William F. and Bertha Mae Schaeffer Bordner. He retired from the former Kinney 
  Shoe Factory in Palmyra, where he had worked as a side laster. In addition to 
  his wife, he is survived by a brother, William P., husband of Fay Bordner of 
  Hummelstown; a sister, Grace Snyder of Robinson, Ill.; and several nieces and 
  nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters, Florence Davis, Anna Miller, and 
  Merle Leininger. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 
  15, 2009, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 and Camp 
  Meeting Road, Jonestown. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service. 
  Interment will be at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
