  Christopher Borod MT. GRETNA Christopher Borod, 56, died Wednesday, August 12, 
  2009, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Cheryl A. Smith 
  Borod with whom he would have celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary this 
  September. Born in Pittsburgh, on December 28, 1952, he was the son of the late 
  Michael and Jean Whipkey Borod. He was a 1970 graduate of Wilkinsburg High 
  School. Christopher was employed by McKesson Inc. as a supervisor for Technical 
  Services for 15 years at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Previously he 
  operated his own radio consulting service under the name Chris Gable and was an 
  on-air personality for various radio stations on the east coast, including WMGK 
  in Philadelphia and WYNY in New York. Chris also worked as a programmer for 
  WAIA in Miami, Fla., and WRKZ in Elizabethtown under the name Doc Gable. In 
  addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Forrest E. Borod and his 
  fianc"e, Sara Miller. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 5, 
  2009, at 2 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., 
  Annville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 
  p.m. at the funeral home. There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, 
  contributions can be made to Children's Cancer Research, c/o Penn State Hershey 
  Medical Center, Academic Support Building, 600 Centerview Drive, Hershey, PA 
  17033.
