  Ellen M. Bowman ANNVILLE Ellen M. Bowman, 78, of 885 Spruce St., went to be 
  with the Lord on Friday, December 11, 2009, in her residence. She was the wife 
  of the late Donald E. Bowman to whom she was married 59 years. She was born in 
  Lebanon, on December 3, 1931, daughter of the late John and Gertrude Griner 
  Schwab. She was a member of Grace Independent Church, Lebanon, where she was 
  their pianist for many years. She was a 1949 graduate of Lebanon High School. 
  Mrs. Bowman was formerly employed by the Lebanon Family Medicine, Palmyra, as 
  an LPN. Her favorite hobby was going to auctions. She is survived by her sons, 
  Donald E. Bowman and wife, Kim of California, Robin L. Bowman of Middletown, 
  Randy L. Bowman of Indiana, and Jamie K. Bowman and wife, Diane of Annville; 
  daughter, Jan E. and husband, James Pearson of Fredericksburg; three 
  grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul Schwab and wife, Joan of 
  Lebanon, John Schwab and wife, Jeanie of Little Kutztown, and Bob Schwab and 
  wife, Lavera of Ohio; sisters, Gertrude Gates, Cora and husband, Ronald 
  Kreiser, and Marian Schwab, all of Lebanon; and numerous nieces and nephews. 
  She was preceded in death by her sister, Ruthie Moyer, and her brother, Charles 
  Schwab. Funeral services will be held Wednesday in the Grace Independent 
  Church, 2120 Lehman St., Lebanon, at 11:30 a.m., where a viewing will be held 
  beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park, 
  Annville. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hospice of the 
  Good Samaritan Hospital, 202 Hathaway Park, Lebanon, PA 17042. The Rohland 
  Funeral Home, Lebanon, is handling the arrangements.
