  Robert B. Bowman, Sr. BEAR, DE Robert Buck Bruce Bowman, Sr., 76, went home to 
  be the Lord on Monday, September 28, 2009. He was employed with Westinghouse 
  for 28 years before his retirement. He enjoyed his vegetable garden, and was 
  known as 'Mr. Fix It' because he could build and fix all things. He was an avid 
  sports fan and loved playing semi-pro basketball and semi-pro baseball. He is 
  survived by his wife, Myrle Bowman; three sons, Robert Jr. and wife, Patti, and 
  Gregg Bowman and wife, Sally; brother, Richard and wife, Fern; sister, Regina 
  Reigle; and two granddaughters, Jocelyn and Mackenzie. He was preceded in death 
  by parents, Eden (Dick) and Martha Bowman; and brother-in-law, Raymond Reigle. 
  Friends may visit with the family on Friday at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral 
  Home, 635 Churchmans Road, Newark DE 19702 from 12 to 2 p.m., followed by a 2 
  p.m. memorial service to celebrate Robert's life. The family suggests memorial 
  contributions be made to Newark Senior Center, 200 White Chapel Drive, Newark, 
  DE 19713.
