  Katie A. Boyer, 94, of Lebanon, Pa., died Monday, February 2, 2009, at the Good 
  Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, Pa. She was the widow of Jeremiah J. Boyer Jr., 
  who died June 21, 1986. Born in Swatara Township, Pa., on January 27, 1915, she 
  was the daughter of the late David A. and Elizabeth E. (Wolf) Baum. She worked 
  at numerous shirt factories in Lebanon County, and attended Kochenderfer United 
  Methodist Church, Lebanon. She was a member of the Lebanon County Flower Club, 
  and enjoyed crocheting. A wonderful mother and grandmother, she is survived by 
  a daughter, Lois, wife of Kenneth Painter of Richland, Pa.; sons Jeremiah III, 
  husband of Linda Boyer of Lebanon, and David, husband of Maria Boyer of 
  Palmyra, Pa.; sisters Betty Jane, wife of Robert A. Kless of Lebanon, and 
  Esther Powell of Palmyra; eight grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren; five 
  greatgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in 
  death by a grandson, Christopher Kiscadden; and a brother, Peter Baum. Services 
  will be held Friday, February 6, 2009, at 11 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 
  W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, Pa. Viewing Friday at 10 a.m. Interment at Grand 
  View Memorial Park, Annville, Pa.
