Brandt, formerly of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2009, at Cornwall Manor. She was the wife of the late Mark S. Brandt. Born in Lebanon, on January 10, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Paul W. and Margaret M. Rank Heffelfinger. She was a 1931 graduate of Lebanon High School and served on the reunion committee. Pearl was a cosmetologist for the family's business, the Orchid Beauty Salon in Lebanon, and an examiner for the State Board of Cosmetology. Pearl was a charter member of the Church of the Good Shepherd where she was a member of the women's society, a Sunday school teacher, in charge of the church acolytes, and a vacation Bible school teacher. She was also a member of the Women's Club of Lebanon, the Lebanon County Flower Club, and she taught the Cambodians at Indiantown Gap. Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn M., wife of Fred Sellers of Ambler, and Denise M., wife of Eugene Wright of Lebanon; a sister, Ferne R. and husband, Arlie Grigg of Mechanicsburg; a granddaughter, Meredith M. Veronesi; a stepgranddaughter, Nina Badora; five great-granddaughters; a sister- in-law, Jane Long of Annville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Roger E. Grimes, III. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday from the Levi Zerr Chapel, 1 Boyd St., Cornwall. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Chapel. Inurnment will take place prior to the service at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd's Building Fund, 1500 Quentin Road, Lebanon, PA 17042; or the Cornwall Manor Benevolent Fund, P.O.
