  Bressler, Elsie M. Peiffer "Dolly"   
   
   
   
  Elsie M. "Dolly" Peiffer Bressler, 87, of 200 Nancy Drive, Myerstown, died 
  Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. She was born May 
  18, 1922 to the late James Monroe and Mary Leiner Peiffer in Prescott. She was 
  a member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lebanon. She worked at 
  Kresge five and dime store. She was a member of the Marion Township Senior 
  Center. She was an avid gardener, loved taking bus trips with her daughters and 
  friends, enjoyed crocheting, crafts and loved to read. Surviving are daughters 
  Janice Gassert Phillips of Lebanon, Barbara Gassert Harvey spouse of Larry of 
  Cornwall; sons Richard William Bressler spouse of Wendy J. of Cleona, Kurt 
  Bressler of Schaefferstown. She had 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. 
  She was the last of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by husband 
  William Richard Bressler (3/7/07); daughter Gloria Gassert Hoffer; brothers 
  Charles Henning, Henry James Peiffer, William Edwin Peiffer; sister Marion 
  Arlene Peiffer. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at 11AM at 
  Christman's Funeral Home, 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon with viewing one hour 
  prior to the service. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
