He was the husband of the late Agnes Meloy Brock. Born in Chillicothe, Ohio on March 13, 1909, he was the son of the late Frederick and Blanche Exline Brock. He was a retired Civil Engineer, having worked for the Veterans Administration for 32 years. He graduated from Ohio University with a degree in civil engineering. He was a member of Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, Myerstown. He was a member of Kiwanis and Pa. Society of Professional Engineering and he enjoyed golfing. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of W.W.II, having served with the SeaBees as a civil engineer and he served on the construction of the 3rd lock in the Panama Canal zone. Surviving are three children, Frederick V. husband of Thelma Brock of Norman, Okla., Anne B. McCord of Columbus, Ohio and Elizabeth K. Brock of Toms River, N.J.; five grandchildren, Michael J. McCord of Alexandria, Va., Christopher K. McCord of South Elgin, Ill., Kathleen McCord of Columbus, Ohio, William F. Brock of Westminster, Colo. and Frederick Brock of Fort Collins, Colo.; four greatgrandchildren, Alejandra McCord of Boston, Mass., Meredith McCord of Alexandria, Va., Thomas McCord of South Elgin, Ill. and Brock McCord of South Elgin, Ill. Frederick was the last of his immediate family. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 10 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church, Cornwall. Interment at the convenience of the family inn St. Joseph's Cemetery, Somerset, Ohio. Visitation Thursday morning 9 to 10 a.m. at the social hall of the church. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, in charge of arrangements.
