  Doris I. Brown Doris I. Brown, 74, 39 Mine Road, Lebanon, died Tuesday, March 
  17, 2009, in her residence, with her loving family by her side. She was the 
  wife of the late John W. Brown, who died August 8, 1998. She was born in 
  Lebanon on October 2, 1934, daughter of the late Harold G. and June Harvey 
  Drum. She was retired from the Lebanon Valley General Hospital and Good 
  Samaritan Hospital with 29 years combined service. She was a previous owner of 
  Franz's Tavern. She was a 1952 graduate of Lebanon High School. She was a 
  member of the Order of Eastern Star, Lebanon; Order of the White Shrine No. 56, 
  Lebanon; Senior Center of Lebanon; AARP; The Maennerchor Club, Lebanon; 
  American Legion Auxiliary Unit 0559; Friendship Fire Co., Lebanon; and the 
  Germania Band Club, Manheim. She is survived by daughter Beth Ann Peters of 
  Lebanon; son Samuel J. and wife Lora K. Brown of Quentin; grandchildren Jason 
  and Marc Peters, John and Matthew Brown and Lindsey Haldeman. She was preceded 
  in death by a brother, Robert H. Drum. Funeral service Monday, March 23, 2009, 
  at 10 a.m., Rohland Funeral Home Inc., Fifth and Cumberland streets, Lebanon, 
  where a viewing will be held Sunday evening 6 to 8 p.m. Interment 
  Ebenezer "Covenant" Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to 
  Hospice of the GSH, Fourth and Walnut streets, Lebanon 17042.
