"Sally" Marian L. "Sally" Brudowsky, 87, of Enola, formerly of Marys-ville, passed away Friday, July 24th, 2009, at her residence. She was the widow of Nicholas Brudowsky. Mrs. Brudowsky was born in Lebanon, PA, on August 17, 1921, the daughter of the late John Ambrose Parsons and Freda Marie (Shay) Parsons Beckley. She was a retired secretary at the former Kinney Shoe Corp., Shiremanstown; a graduate of Robesonia High School and the Helen Moore Hoffman Secretarial School of Reading. A member of: Bethany United Methodist Church, Marysville, where she was in the Frontline Sunday School Class; The Elizabethtown Moose Lodge and the Clair Schaeffer Multiple Sclerosis Society. Marian was an accomplished artist, an avid birdwatcher and enjoyed doing crafts. Surviving are her children, Bonita S., wife of Paul R. Heisey, Newport; Jeffrey O. Sees, Mechanicsburg; Patti M. Buxton, Marysville; Kimberly D., wife of Timothy H. Schardt, Marysville; Stephen P. Brudowsky, his companion, Marie A. Hansrote, Enola; 17 grandchildren, 10 greatgrandchildren; and 2 great- greatgranddaughters. She was preceded in death by a son, Nicholas Brudowsky Jr. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 29th, 2009, in the Bethany United Methodist Church, Marysville, with Rev. Carola Beasley-Topliffe officiating. Viewing will be held from noon to 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday in the church. Burial will be at 2:30 P.M. on Thursday, July 30, 2009, in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Mount Penn, (Reading), PA. Arrangements are entrusted to the Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, 400 Lansvale Street, Marysville, PA 17053 or American Cancer Society, 3211 North Front Street, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
