  Burdette, Wendy Lanee   
   
  Wendy Lanee Burdette, 43, formally of Lebanon went to "a pleasant place" 
  Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Born in Frederick, Md., April 18, 1965. She was the 
  beautiful daughter of April Burdette of Lebanon, and Winstead Burdette and wife 
  Elsa of Fleetwood, Pa. Wendy graduated from Clarion Area High School in 1983. 
  She went to North Carolina School of the Art for ballet. She earned a 
  bachelor's degree and also a master's degree in sociology from Indiana 
  University of Pennsylvania. She was previously employed by the Lebanon Daily 
  News, JoAnn Fabrics, Ace Aluminum, Lebanon Self-Storage, YMCA Childcare, 
  Northwest Elementary School as a T.S.S., Beck-Mex Restaurant at the Lebanon 
  Valley Mall, The Timbers in Mt. Gretna, Penn State Medical Center as a job 
  coach, and MHMR as a group home caregiver. Surviving in addition to her 
  grieving parents are a brother, Edgar Burdette and wife Carol of Pocono Pines, 
  Pa.; niece Tara Burdette; two nephews, Robbie Burdette and Phillip Burdette; 
  aunt and uncle Joan and George Andrews of Hyattstown, Md.; and beloved cousins 
  Robin and Michael Andrews and Karen Weeks. A memorial service will be held 
  Saturday, March 7, 1 p.m., at St. Benedict the Abbot Church, 1300 East Lehman 
  St., Lebanon. Friends and family will be received from noon until time of 
  service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Coolbaugh Fire 
  Co., Laurel Drive, Tobyhanna, PA 18466.
