  Ruth V. Burger Ruth V. Burger, 83, Lebanon, formerly of Palmyra and Myerstown, 
  died Wednesday July 22, 2009 in Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the late 
  Elwood C. "Bill" Burger. She was born in Jefferson Twp., Berks County on 
  November 21, 1925, a daughter of the late Raymond and Carrie Merkey Blatt. She 
  had been employed at the former Park Silk Company and had worked at the Sunset 
  Deli. She was a Phillies fan and enjoyed baking. She is survived by a son: 
  William Burger, Lebanon and daughter: Diane wife of Joseph Mauceri, NJ; 
  stepdaughter: Susan Dobbs, Hummelstown; 7 grandchildren; 3 greatgrandchildren; 
  sister-inlaw: Anna Blatt, Lebanon. Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 A.M. 
  in the Rohland Funeral Home, 5th & Cumberland Sts., Lebanon. Interment will be 
  made in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Viewing will be Friday from 10:00 A.M. to the 
  time of service in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the 
  Alzheimer's Association, Greater PA Chapter, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 205, 
  Harrisburg, PA 17110-9638.
