  James L. Butch, Sr. HERSHEY James L. Butch, Sr., 71, died Monday, September 7, 
  2009, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 5, 1938, 
  in Hershey, a son of the late Joseph P. and Effie (Croci) Butch. Jim was a 
  graduate of Hershey High School and Shippensburg University, where he received 
  his Masters Degree in Special Education. He retired as a school teacher for the 
  Milton Hershey School. He was an army veteran. Jim was a member of the Derry 
  Presbyterian Church, Hershey; Brownstone Lodge #666 F & A M, Hershey; and the 
  Hershey Italian Lodge. He was also an honorary adopted classmate of the Milton 
  Hershey School class of 1953, and was selected by the Milton Hershey School 
  Alumni Assn. to be a member of the Honorary Member Chapter of the Milton 
  Hershey School Alumni Assn. Surviving are his wife, Jean (Clouser) Butch; a 
  son, James L. Butch, Jr. of Palmyra; a daughter, Susan M. Butch of Hershey; 
  grandchildren, Jacob T. and Kennedy E. Butch of Selbyville, Del.; two brothers, 
  Joseph P. Butch of Annville and William J. Butch of Hummelstown; a sister, Mary 
  J. Butch of Hershey; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 
  Friday at 11 a.m. in his church. Friends may call Friday at the church from 10 
  until 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, 
  the family prefers memorial contributions be made to his church at 248 E. Derry 
  Road, Hershey, PA 17033; or to PinnacleHealth Hospice, 3705 Elm wood Drive, 
  Harrisburg, PA 17110. Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. in Hershey is 
  handling the arrangements.
