  Callahan, Shane C.    
   
  Shane C. Callahan, 33, died Saturday, August 1, 2009, in Lebanon from injuries 
  sustained from a swimming accident. Born in Harrisburg, on September 12, 1975, 
  he was the son of the late Emma Deitz Caldwell. Mr. Callahan was an employee of 
  Grieners Construction of Mt. Joy. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School and 
  attended PittJohnstown College. He coached youth hockey in Lancaster and 
  enjoyed sports, especially hockey, wrestling, baseball, and fishing. He had 
  raced BMX bicycles in his younger years. Surviving are a son, Sonny William 
  Callahan of Lancaster; grandparents, William and Catherine Deitz of Lebanon; 
  one uncle, John Deitz; and two cousins, Jessica Deitz of Lebanon and Keith 
  Deitz of Venice, Calif., and his fianc"e, Tabitha Ruiz of Lebanon. Funeral 
  services will be held on Friday at 12 noon from Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 
  126 S. 9th St., Lebanon. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing 
  hours are from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
