  Kathryn M. Chernich LEBANON Kathryn M. Chernich, 81, died Monday, August 10, 
  2009, at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born August 16, 1927, in Lebanon, 
  daughter of the late Charles S. and Ada S. Light Noll. She was a graduate of 
  Lebanon High School and earner her Bachelor's degree from Lebanon Valley 
  College and her Master's from Penn State. She was an elementary school teacher 
  with the Lebanon School District for over 35 years. Mrs. Chernich was a member 
  of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was an active member of the 
  Order of the Eastern Star, Order of the Amaranth, and White Shrine of 
  Jerusalem. She was a member of the PA School Retirees Assn. and the Lebanon 
  Senior Center. Surviving are husband, Richard M. Chernich of Lebanon; and 
  nephews, Charles Noll and Donald Noll, both of Lebanon. She was preceded in 
  death by a brother, Henry Noll. Viewing is scheduled for Friday from 9:40 to 
  10:30 a.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon, with 
  an Order of the Eastern Star service beginning at 9:30 a.m. Funeral service 
  will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Zoar Lutheran 
  Cemetery, Mt. Zion.
