  John J. Connell MYERSTOWN John "Jack " J. Connell, 78, died Thursday, November 
  12, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of 
  Hedwiga "Hedy" G. (Danseski) Connell, to whom he was married 49 years on April 
  23, 2009. Born in Carbondale, on September 7, 1931, he was the son of the late 
  John J. and Mary (Kelley) Connell. He was a 1949 graduate of Benjamin Franklin 
  High School, Carbondale, and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean 
  War. He was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Lebanon; Knights of 
  Columbus; Richland American Legion; and was an avid football fan. In addition 
  to his wife, he is survived by sisters, Mary McAndrew of Carbondale, Josephine 
  Marsden of Carbondale, and Ann Tolerico of Peckville; and several nieces and 
  nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Connell. A Mass of 
  Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, November 20, 2009, at 2 p.m. from 
  St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 202 E. Lehman St., Lebanon. There will be no 
  viewing or visitation. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Lebanon. Grose Funeral 
  Home, Myerstown, is in charge of arrangements.
