  Richard E. Copenhaver Sr., 62, of Jonestown passed away on Wednesday, February 
  4, 2009, at home. He was the husband of Kay M. Blouch Copenhaver, and on June 
  8th, they would have celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. Born in Lebanon 
  on June 12, 1946, he was the son of the late Chester and Mae Walmer Copenhaver. 
  He was retired from Farmer's Pride in Fredericksburg. He was a veteran of the 
  U.S. Air Force ,and served during the Vietnam Conflict, and he was a member of 
  the Jonestown American Legion. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 
  daughter, Tammy K. Copenhaver of Jonestown; sons Richard E. Copenhaver Jr. of 
  Jonestown, Timothy L. Copenhaver of Jonestown; brothers Chester "Butch" 
  Copenhaver of Fredericksburg, Ronald Copenhaver of Jonestown, Dennis Copenhaver 
  of Annville, Tom Copenhaver of Palmyra, Robert Copenhaver of Jonestown, Jim 
  Copenhaver of Fredericksburg; and two grandchildren, Lillith Copenhaver and 
  Zaira Copenhaver. He was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Copenhaver. 
  Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 9, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. at the 
  Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 Campmeeting Road, Jonestown. Viewing 
  will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will 
  be at the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
