  Deane L. Crouse, 81, formerly of Lebanon, Pa., died Monday, March 9, 2009, at 
  the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, Pa. She was the widow of Vernon E. 
  Crouse, who died February 18, 1999. Born in Richland, Pa., on March 12, 1927, 
  she was the daughter of the late Sara Frank. She was a member of Grace UCC, 
  Lebanon, Pa., and she enjoyed discussing and reading about Civil War history, 
  gardening, traveling, and being with her family. She is survived by daughters 
  Holly, wife of John Ziegler of New Tripoli, Pa., and Patty, wife of Joseph 
  Hockley of Lancaster, Pa.; son David F. Crouse of New Tripoli, Pa.; eight 
  grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son 
  Scott Crouse. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 13, 2009, at 11 a.m. 
  from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, Pa. Viewing Friday 
  at 10 a.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of 
  flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace UCC, 1000 S. Fifth Ave., 
  Lebanon, PA 17042.
