  Jay E. Crouse LEBANON Jay E. Crouse, 86, formerly of Mt. Aetna/Frystown area, 
  died Saturday, November 7, 2009, in Cedar Haven. He was the husband of Mary 
  Bashore Crouse who died September 1998. He was born in Tulpehochen Twp., Berks 
  Co., on September 10, 1923, a son of the late Irvin and Sue Harnly Crouse. Mr. 
  Crouse was a retired farmer and construction worker. He was a member of Little 
  Swatara Church of the Brethren, Rehrersburg. Surviving are dauhters, Janet E., 
  wife of Marlin Bashore, Bernville, and Geraldine S., wife of Marlin Shuey, 
  Lebanon; a son, Jay N. Crouse and wife, Donna, Lebanon; four grandchildren; 
  three greatgrandchildren; a sister, Orpha, wife of William Ecenrode, Lancaster 
  Co.; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother, Leon Crouse; 
  and a sister, Edith Ziegler. Funeral services 10 a.m. Wednesday from Little 
  Swatara Church of the Brethren, Bethel, where a viewing will be held Wednesday 
  beginning at 9 a.m. Interment Frystown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, 
  contributions may be made to Little Swatara Church of the Brethren, Box M, 
  Bethel PA 19507. The Rohland Funeral Home, Inc., Lebanon, is in charge.
