Cupello, 91, died Saturday, December 26, 2009, at her daughter Carole's home in North Bradley, Mich. Wilma V. Fancovic was born February 9, 1918, in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of the late Michael and Annastasia (Baranovich) Fancovic. She married Michael J. Cupello September 18, 1941, in Lebanon. He died October 18, 1994. Mom truly enjoyed gardening and in her younger days especially enjoyed making flower arrangements for the church altar. She also enjoyed baking, playing cards, and spending time with family. Survivors include her son, James and Laurita Cupello of Boerne, Texas; daughters, Diane and Tag Bushre of North Bradley, Mich., and Carole and Lynn Murray of North Bradley, Mich.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sisters, Bernice Fancovic and Frances Fancovic, both of Midland, Mich. She was preceded in death by brothers, Joe and Louis Fancovic; and sisters, Agnes Bowman, Kay Kral, and Margaret Andrews. She will be missed by all those who had the pleasure to know her, and especially by her two grandsons, Jason and Josh, who spent their younger years keeping 'Grandma' quite busy. Funeral and committal services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church with the Rev. Ray Moeggenberg officiating. Burial will take place in the Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman. Public viewing will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the O'Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc., with a 7:30 p.m. Vigil Service Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Friends who wish may direct memorials to the St. Phillip Neri Altar Society. A special thank you to her caregivers; Sherry, Nancy, Carolyn, and Carol. They were truly a blessing to Mom.
