She left this world in the loving arms of her parents. Born April 10th, 2009, in Hershey, Kali had a short life but she touched the hearts of many from the doctors, nurses and other staff of Hershey Medical Center to family and friends all over the world. She fought to live but in the end slipped away. In addition to her extremely loving parents, Kali leaves behind her loving big brother, Darrin "Go Go" Thompson and big sister Marissa "Riss" Deitzler, both at home; maternal grandparents Jennifer and Gary Snyder and Ted and Dawn Thompson, all of Lebanon; maternal greatgrandmother Mary Ann Thompson; paternal grandparents Julia and Eric Kopinetz, also of Lebanon; uncle Jeff and Titi Cindy Deitzler, uncle Timmy and aunt Rachel Thompson, all of Lebanon; uncle Teddy and aunt Tricia Thompson of Frederick, Md.; aunts Erica and Heather Kopinetz, and uncle Derek Kopinetz of Lebanon; cousins Cole and Connor Thompson, Luis Martinez, Wilfredo Rohena, Jeffery and Jaden Deitzler, and Grace Thompson. She is also survived by a large extended family. Funeral serivces on Wednesday at 10:00 from Thompson Funeral Home Inc., provider of the "Our Little Angel" community program, 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon 17042. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday morning 9-10 prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, Kali's parents wish for donations to be made in her name to give back to those who did so much for her and her family during her life so that they may continue to help those who need it: The Hummingbird Program of the Hershey Medical Center, The Children's Miracle Network or NICU at the Hershey Medical Center c/o Penn State Hershey Medical Center, 500 University Dr., Hershey, Pa. 17033.
