  Deanna J. Detwiler, 70, of West Oak Street, Palmyra died Friday, January 23, 
  2009 at her home. Born November 4, 1938 in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the 
  late Donald P. and Jean Peiffer. She retired from the cafeteria of the Palmyra 
  School District, was a member of First Evangelical Congregational Church, 
  Palmyra, and the widow of Thomas R. Detwiler who died November 24, 2004. 
  Surviving are her sons Craig Detwiler of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Daniel 
  Detwiler of Mechanicsburg, and Edward Detwiler of Hershey; brother Michael 
  Peiffer of Elizabeth City, North Carolina; and sister Mary Adams of Harrisburg. 
  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at First 
  Evangelical Congregational Church, 55 West Main Street, Palmyra preceded by a 
  visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Grand View Memorial 
  Park, Annville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Thomas Detwiler 
  Award, East Stroudsburg University Football, c/o 610 West Oak Street, Palmyra, 
  PA 17078.
