Deysher, 86, formerly of Cleona, died Wednesday, December 2, 2009, in the Manor. He was the husband of Myrtle C. Stover Deysher, who died in 2003. Born in Reading, on October 16, 1923, he was the son of the late Paul S. and Ida Evans Deysher. He was a graduate of Shillington High School, Albright College, and received his Master's in Education from Temple University. He began his work as a teacher for the Bethel School District and then for Harding Junior High School, Lebanon, before becoming a Vice-Principal in Ocean City, N.J. He did industrial teaching at Philco in Lansdale and also taught night classes at Elizabethtown College and Harrisburg Area Community College. Most of his career was in Management Training for AMP. After retirement, he continued to work as a Courier for Meridian Bank, and a Reporter for the Lebanon Daily News. He was an active member of Salem Lutheran Church, Lebanon, a member of the American Society of Training Development, Phi Delta Kappa, active with the Albright Alumni Association, and the Annville-Cleona Kiwanis Club. Paul was a member of the International Society of Poets and was selected to Who's Who in America. Surviving are two sons, David P. Deysher, D.O. and wife, Richelle of Lebanon, and Lt. Col. Mark E. Deysher, U.S. Air Force Retired and wife, Mary Diane of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and grandchildrern, Nathan, Matthew, David, Katie, Daniel, and Jacob Deysher. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 8, 2009, at 11 a.m. from Salem Lutheran Church, 8th and Willow Streets, Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment will be held in Mt. Annville Cemetery, N. Annville Twp. Viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville and also from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service Tuesday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Salem Lutheran Church or the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
