  Diamond, Walker R.   
   
  Walker R. Diamond, 75, of Richland, Pa., died Saturday, January 17, 2009, at 
  the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, Pa. He was the husband of Mary Anne 
  (Bollinger) Diamond, to whom he was married 54 years on October 19. Born in 
  Philadelphia, Pa., on October 23, 1933, he was the son of the late Raymond W. 
  and Elizabeth M. (Stoner) Diamond. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during 
  the Korean War, and had been employed at Warner-Lambert, Lititz, Pa., for 22 
  years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Goodwill Fire Co., Myerstown, 
  and enjoyed reading, sports, playing golf, bowling and model trains. In 
  addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Susan, wife of Richard 
  Eckenroth of Myerstown, Pa.; and a son, Steven, husband of Tammy Diamond of 
  Myerstown, Pa.; grandchildren Charles Eckenroth of Myerstown, Pa., Sarah 
  Diamond of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Samuel Diamond of Glen Hills, Pa., and 
  Kathryn Diamond of Elizabethtown, Pa. Services will be at the convenience of 
  family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Richland 
  Community Library, 111 E. Main Street, Richland, PA 17087. Grose Funeral Home, 
  Myerstown, is in charge of arrangements.
