  Charlene R. Donovan, 49, of Annville went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 
  21, 2009, at the Hershey Medical Center. She was the daughter of Jean (Heilman) 
  Donovan of Annville and the late John Donovan. Charlene's faith in God was 
  rich. All those she knew and came in contact with were blessed and felt the 
  presence of the Lord. Charlene was a graduate of Palmyra High School and 
  attended Messiah Collage and Multnomah School of the Bible in Portland, Oregon. 
  The joy of cooking led her to positions of private chef in executive homes in 
  Vermont, New York and Philadelphia. The last several years Charlene worked 
  locally as a care giver, including her grandmother, Selma Heilman. Surviving in 
  addition to her mother are two sisters, Kathleen Seow and husband, Norman, with 
  their children Donovan and Amanda of Virginia, and Pauline Vahedi and her 
  daughter, Roza of Florida; a stepbrother, Michael Donovan of Walla Walla, 
  Washington; and her loving uncle, Harold Heilman of Myerstown; and aunt Fay 
  Gutshall of Palmyra. A celebration of Charlene's life will be held 3 p.m. 
  Sunday, May 17, 2009, at her home, 10 Dogwood Drive, Annville (two miles north 
  of Palmyra), with Pastor Dennis Garrison officiating. Family and friends are 
  all welcome. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions to 
  be made to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, 
  PA 17110. Our family expresses much gratitude to those who kept in contact with 
  phone calls and visits, thoughts and prayers for Charlene - especially over the 
  last six months of her life with cancer.   Published in the Lebanon Daily News
