Jeanette M. Ebling, 71, of Jonestown, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2009, at her home. She was the wife of the late Harold J. Ebling. She was born in Lebanon on March 3, 1938. After 22 years of service, she retired from the Berks Vocational Technical School where she had been the Cosmetology Supervisor. She was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ, Jonestown, where she had served as the President of the Ladies Circle for six years, served as a Deacon for 5 1/2 years and was in charge of the ham dinners for 4 years. She was a member of VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America) and she served as the VICA adviser at Berks VTS for 19 years. From 1989-1992 she was involved in the PA VICA Leadership Conf., where she had been the sessions co-coordinator and the on-site registrations coordinator. From 1992-93 she was the State VICA Adviser of the Year. She is survived by her son, David B. Ebling, of Jonestown; brothers Jack Nevin of Fairfield, CA, and Floyd Nevin of Lebanon; a sister, Dorothy Glant of Lebanon; granddaughter Jessica L., wife of Richard Rabuck of Jonestown; a greatgranddaughter Reagan Rabuck; and she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Kelly Jean Ebling, and a grandson David Tyler Ebling. Funeral services will be held on Friday June 19, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Campmeeting Rd., Jonestown. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Grand View Memorial Park, North Annville Twp. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to her church at P.O.
