  Gayle D. Eiler, 61, of Womelsdorf, Pa., died Saturday, January 24, 2009, at 
  Phoebe Berks Health Care Center, Wernersville, Pa. She was the widow of John W. 
  Eiler, who died January 27, 2000. Born in Mapleton, Maine, on April 4, 1947, 
  she was the daughter of E. Keith and Barbara Ann (Kierstead) Dow of Hampden, 
  Maine. She had been a substitute elementary school teacher for many years, and 
  recently worked in daycare at the Reading Hospital. She was a member of St. 
  John's " Host " Church, Bernville, Pa., she had been the church organist for 
  many years. She enjoyed music. In addition to her parents, she is survived by 
  daughters Laura Eiler of Wyomissing, Pa., and Rebecca, wife of Philip Breneman 
  of South Park, Pa.; son Timothy, husband of Jennifer Eiler of Grove City, Pa.; 
  sister Ruthann, wife of Ivan Frost of Hampden, Maine; several nieces and 
  nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Boutot. Funeral services 
  will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at 2 p.m. from St. John's " Host " 
  Church, 36 Host Church Road, Bernville, Pa. Viewing Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at 
  the church. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, 
  memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005 LBJ 
  Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, Texas 75244. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, is in 
  charge of arrangements.
