Charles L. Eisenhour, 83, formerly of Trinidad Avenue in Hershey, died Sunday, June 28, 2009, in ManorCare, Lebanon. He was born October 6, 1925, in Campbelltown, the son of the late George and the late Edith (Sholley) Eisenhour. Charlie was a graduate of Hershey High School and retired as a cook from the former DeAngelis Restaurant in Hershey. He was a World War II Navy veteran and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey; Knights of ColumbusHershey Council; The Areba Club; and Hershey American Legion; and was a 50 year member of the Hershey VFW. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hortensia. Surviving are a son, William G. of Annville; grandaughter, Michelle Eisenhour of Palmyra; great-grandchildren, Shauna and Riley; two sisters, Ellen Eisenhour of Palmyra and Fay Faust of Hershey. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 2nd, in his church at 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey. Viewing will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Hershey Interment with honors will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Heartland Hospice, 4 Park Plaza, Park Road, Suite #105, Wyomissing, PA 19610.
