  William J. Enck SCHAFFERSTOWN William J. Enck, 85, died Thursday, December 3, 
  2009, in his residence. He was the husband of the late Earla McQuate Enck. He 
  was born July 6, 1924, in Lebanon a son of the late John Paul and Anna Singley 
  Enck. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran serving in the Philippines with 
  the 710th Tank Battalion. After the war, Bill was in business with his father 
  and brother in Schaefferstown, as a manufacturer's representative for the sale 
  of automotive equipment until 1967. From 1967 to 1989 he was sole proprietor of 
  Enck's Wheel Alignment in Schaefferstown. He was a member of the St. Paul's 
  United Church of Christ in Schaefferstown. He is survived by son, John D., 
  husband of Clarissa T. Enck of Millbach; daughters, Susan J. Enck of Lebanon 
  and Lorna J., wife of Dwight Davis of Hummelstown; grandchildren, Melody Enck, 
  Robin Medic, William H. Enck and Nathan Davis; and sister, Lorraine Loraw of 
  Elizabethtown. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Enck; and a 
  sister, Ella Hensel. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday in the Clauser 
  Funeral Home, N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown, with a viewing beginning on 
  Monday at 10 a.m. Interment will be made in the Schaefferstown Cemetery.
