  Cyril S. Espenshade, Jr. Cyril S. Espenshade, Jr., 82, of Fredericksburg, 
  passed away on Wednesday July 22, 2009 at his home. He was the husband of the 
  late Dorothy M. Kline Espenshade. Born in Lebanon on March 15, 1927, he was the 
  son of the late Cyril and Ellen Espenshade. He was a retired Teamsters Union 
  truck mechanic. He served in the US Navy during the WW II and the Korean 
  Conflict. He was a member of the Retired Teamsters #776, a life member of the 
  Navy Club Ship 91, the Senior Center of Lebanon Valley, and he volunteered at 
  the VA Medical Center. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great 
  grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter Sandra I. wife of Charles 
  Strouphar, Jr., of Fredericksburg; a stepson Leslie Long of Lebanon; sisters 
  Vivian Danz of New Providence and Hattie Mease of Hershey; grandchildren Jeremy 
  and Shane Strouphar, four great grandsons and two step grandchildren. He was 
  preceded in death by his brothers Wayne, William and Delbert Espenshade and 
  sisters Catherine Shank and Frieda Hoover. Funeral services will be held on 
  Tuesday July 28, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & 
  Crematory, Rt. 72 and Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. Viewing will be one hour 
  prior to the service and burial will be at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
