  Violet L. Felty PALMYRA Violet L. (Angstadt) Felty, 89, passed away Monday, 
  November 23, 2009, at Twin Oaks Nursing Home in Campbelltown. She is survived 
  by her loving husband of 73 years, Woodrow W. Felty. She was born Friday, March 
  19, 1920, in Lebanon, to the late Alfred and Carrie (Sanders) Angstadt. She 
  worked for Reese's and later retired from the central kitchen of the M.S. 
  Hershey School. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and 
  Women's Bowling Assoc. in Lebanon. She enjoyed reading, bowling, and was an 
  avid bingo player. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is 
  survived by a son, Lee W. Felty and wife, Laurie of Palmyra; a daughter, Derith 
  L. Walters of Palmyra; three grandchildren, Christopher D. Walters and wife, 
  Kammy of Hershey, and Amanda M. and Morgan C. Felty of Palmyra; and one 
  greatgrandson, Evan C. Walters. She was preceded in death by two brothers. 
  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Rothermel Funeral Home & 
  Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, 17078 with Pastor William J. 
  McEllroy officiating. Friends and family are invited for a time of visitation 
  from 9 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow in Indiantown Gap 
  National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be 
  made to American Diabetes Assoc., 3544 N. Progress Ave., #101, Harrisburg, PA 
  17110.
