Fessler, Marie M.    
 
Marie M. Fessler, 81, of Williamsport, died on Sunday, June 28, 2009, at her 
home. Born in Lehigh County on April 9, 1928, she was the daughter of the late 
Charles and Elizabeth Schneck Kern. She was a member of the First United 
Methodist Church of Williamsport. Marie graduated from Lebanon High School in 
the Class of 1946. Surviving is a son, Doug Fessler and wife Rose of 
Williamsport; two brothers Charles Kern and wife Martha of Palmyra and Richard 
Kern and wife Betty of Palmyra; one sister Elaine, wife of Leroy Brandt, of 
Annville; one grandson, Curt Fessler and wife Valarie of Bloomsburg. Funeral 
services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2009, at 11 a.m. from the Kreamer 
Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Internment will be in 
Grandview Memorial Park, Annville. Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. 
prior to the funeral at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can 
be made to the First United Methodist Church, 2 Ross St., Williamsport, PA 
17701.
